Out of all of the apologetics I have read, I still have a large spot on my heart for C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity. The clarity and sincerity of MC is not something I have seem emulated by recent Christian intellectuals. Not Plantinga. Not Craig. Not Swinburne. Not Inwagen. While these people are very smart and engaging philosophers, they have yet to write something on the popular level like Mere Christianity.
