This review is about the Kindle edition and NOT the ESV translation.
I have loved the ESV since 2002 and desired to get the Study Bible version for my iPad. ESV HD through Crossway is GREAT and free... but does not have study notes.
With this purchased I wasted $10! On the Kindle for iPad software you are only able to search BY PAGE NUMBER. For instance, when I typed "Colossians" into the 'Enter Location' search box it returned zero results. You must know the exact page number of the Scripture you wish to look up. Think about that. If you knew the exact page number you would not need a search feature.
If you are looking for a great iPad version of the ESV Study Bible for less than $40, none exist as of the writing of this review.
I am extremely disappointed.
If anyone from Crossway is reading this, please reconsider making this available for Kindle... as of now it is just a waste of moneyGet more detail about ESV Study Bible.
