I could not put this book down. While this book has several stories ongoing, it all exemplifies what it really takes to be a true explorer. The things these people had to endure are mind-boggling. Why anyone would choose to do this is beyond my comprehension and it really shows the courage and determination that Percy Fawcett had. He had nerves of steel, and maybe was just a little crazy.
